Enduro Tribesportgroup Team

11 years ago and a year before the 1st ever national enduro race, « la Tribe 10 000», Tribe Sport Group already had 2 talented riders whose profile met this kind of racing growing up: the Balaud Brothers (Alex and Willy).

10 years later, Alex who pratically won everything in France is still part of the team who has been traveling all over France to race this new kind of racing which is now structured and is getting famous internationaly.

Today the team is composed of 6 riders , a good balance of experienced racers with Alex Balaud and Olivier Giordanengo ( 9th overall 2011 Enduro Series); also young and talented riders like Alex Cure, 16 years old, and Maurian Marnay, 19 years old (1st overall 2011 Enduro Series and E MTN junior class). To complete our  goals and results, the team counts Morgane Jonnier (1st overall 2011 Enduro Series women class) but who has got a broken foot for the moment. Finally Fouad Gourirane is the essential link for a good cohesion in the team by his always good mood and his talents to fine tune.

The full team was invited to 2 days of testing mid april in Gassin, the south of France close to Tribe Sport Group’s office and  Fox Racing Shox, France.

The spot maintained by the local club has 3 different trails; each enduro type with different profile, riders can find here all the  different kind of race tracks they can fride during the season.

The goal of the week end was to find the best setting for each racer on their Rocky Slayer and Yeti SB 66, all bikes running FOX 2012 of course.

With 11 runs on sunday and 18 on monday, we can say that the riders and the Fox technicians(Sebastien Benavent et Alex Fath) made the best of those 2 days.

This week end will help our racers to get their best results during the season and also the customers as anybody can get those «racing» set up from Fox France.

Every rider liked the rear shock lockout fixed on the handlebar for the physical parts and the Float 36, with for each of them unique setting matching their riding style and the kinematic characteristics of suspensions on the slayer or the SB 66.

Technicians and riders were talking about racing the Van 36 at few races depending on the profile.

Of course everybody likes the Kashima treatment on the rear shox and fork, definitly a real plus to limit frictions.

The team is structured and strenghtened by the precious support of OST with Lilian (training coach) for the physical preparation of the Athletes; and Nicolas Parisi (team coordinateur)who will help with his experience of good Enduro racer, Nico will be the coordinator and mecanic for the season.

The goals for this 2012 season are easy; the racers will aim for the Enduro Series-French Cup; aswell are few local races and famous DH Marathon.

The team looks forward 2013 and hope to announce an  Enduro World Cup with the UCI or assimilated; in any case they will be ready to shine.
